[osol-help] I think I should forget about OpenSolaris... opinion?

define "general, everyday usage" 
define "general use"

Neither of those terms have any real meaning, so you will get different answers 
depending on who you ask, since everyone, when formulating a response, will 
independently be deciding what they think those terms might or might not mean. 
It follows that any set of answers you might receive will be of little to no 
use to you, and likely just be confusing.
