Ok so I thought I'd try the OpenSolaris 2008 distro that was provided as a CD. The problem is I have a recently new laptop. HP DV5-1003nr and when I go and boot either regular or graphic it does some things
like Preparing live image for use Done mounting Live Image It then goes to a section called USB Keyboard and asks for me to select a type which of course I would pick the default 41 US-English; however, it is not taking any input from my laptop. Any key i press doesn't go through, indeed it looks like my caps lock button is stuck on ON cause the lights on. I unfortunately don't have a USB keyboard to try and connecting to my laptop to see if it could go further however that shouldn't be an issue since its a laptop it should use the laptop keyboard no? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
