Just hit the "enter" key every time it asks you to select something like language or keyboard (instead of typing in a number) and tell us what happens.
Also, are you still dual-booting OpenSolaris with another operating system (like Microsoft Windows or Linux) where the keyboard drivers still work? If so, reboot into the other operating system and run the The Sun Device Detection tool which you can get from the link below: http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/hcts/device_detect.jsp It might give you some good hints on what's going on.
