Someone elsewhere mentioned to do:
first remove oss (pkgrm oss)
# devfsadm -C
# update_drv -a -i '"pci10de,1b0"' audio810

in the /etc/driver_aliases file it shows as:
audio810 "pci10de,1b0"

but I did get an error:
devfsadm: driver failed to attach: audio810
Warning: Driver (audio810) successfully added to system but failed to attach

Yes I did have the card in when I put OSS onto the machine, and the card is
what showed up on the volume applet.
