This  may be of no help at all, but for what it's worth...

I have a few SUNPCI Pro cards in a few of my older sparc stations.  The
drivers for those cards are for older versions of Solaris (Solaris 8 or 9),
and to get them to work on Solaris 10 or "11" (i.e. OpenSolaris), you have
to do renaming of the driver file.  This is, of course, for existing
installations of Solaris or OpenSolaris.
