You just made my day! After 3 days of fretting, I don't think I've ever been this happy.
As a side-note, Murphy's Law is fully in effect. It appears, and was confirmed in bugzilla, that the folks over at OpenSuSE broke the Compaq array detection in 10.2. And 10.3 (RC1) is only available in DVD, which is of little use to me. After going through the pain of downloading the 10.3 DVD and setting up a loop mount on an NFS server, it appears that the array support is *still broken*. I'll take Solaris 9 over bleeding-edge everything-should-work RC openSuSE today... and probably every day in the future. This message posted from opensolaris.org
