OpenSolaris 2008.11 sucks up a lot the hard drive on an eeepc 4G. How can I remove gnome and replace it with lxde? Or maybe xfce4?
Can it removing gnome be done with IPS. I want to keep openoffice mainly for the presentations. But I will look at lightweight apps such as mutt for email But overall I need a lighter desktop. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
