I believe you can only install rpool to a mirror as of now.
I would myself never install OpenSolaris onto the same zpool as I use for storage. I would like to separate data and OS. Therefore, use a separate small system disc for OS and those 4 discs as a zpool raid storage. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
