Thank you Edward, thats a good idea. Up to now I always used the disks without partitions for zfs, e.g. c8d0, c8d1 etc.
Am I right that I need to create partitions now and than use c8d0p0 etc.?? What types of partition tables and partition types must I create? I'm not in full control of solaris' format command right now - please advise! By the way: how to tell the opensolaris installer to go that way???
