Are you sure that device pci10de,54c is a realtek nic?

I think I just installed Solaris Express on the same
mainboard, "ASUS M2N-VM DVI", and I also found the
pci10de,54c device, but it's an nvidia MCP67 chipset,
and might work with the nge Solaris driver.

But problem apparently is that the nge driver has support
for some old nvidia ethernet chipsets (e.g. nForce3,
MCP04, MCP51, MCP61, CK804, ...), but no support for
the MCP67.

I do see a valid MAC on the nge interface, and I do see
packets comming in on the nge interface, but no
packets are transmitted.

For now I've installed an extra Intel e1000g PCI NIC.
