Your comment about "both 84-87%" is interesting, also try to re-record your iso image onto the DVD-Rom media at 8x vs. full speed also the try option 4 of the install text mode vs. using the GUI. if the dvd media was used with cdrecord or cdrw utility download the newer version or use pc windows of Nero or something like it. is should be fixed in a newer snv, I had submitted a RFE, had not got the cr back yet, The install log is kept in /var/sadm/install_data/nstall_log , the begin_script of the dvd or jumpstart install is not not copied over as well as the messages file from the install, so it should be as well, this needs to be a RFE.
