Well,
The Pro 100 VE IS NOT a PCI card and it is not an e1000g card.
if it works with anything its the "iprb" driver. for PRO 100 cards.
You are the third guy I come across who has problems with the PRO 100VE
And I would like to know now once and for all if it can be made to run with
the iprb driver.
Please try the procedures you tried before for the e1000g but with the
iprb driver instead.
