the patch to change IPv4-only functions and structures to AF-agnostic
in the BIO part of openssl is attached to this mail (Reguest Tracker
will presumably strip it) and can also be found at
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=198737
