There are (were?) some cheap KVMs that were essentially big mechanical switches that didn't do that. However, I've got what was a fairly expensive, good quality switch (Protec Bytelan) that exhibits that problem. My question is why does it affect only Linux? I've never seen the problem with OS/2 or Windows. Also, with the 2.4 kernel, it was possible to clear the problem, but not 2.6, by switching to a text console and back to desktop. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
