Hello Everyone,

A week or more ago I noticed that the DNS record for the server
rsync.openvas.org had changed from 212.95.126.13 to 212.95.107.136...
After much ado.. I finally got out global network ops team to change the FW
rule to allow rsync traffic to the new IP... I asked if they would be
willing to allow traffic to a DNS name instead of an IP address so I
wouldn't have to bother them anymore, but that request was summarily
denied... :-(

So next best alternative perhaps... Is there plans to always keep the
rsync feed within a certain block of IP addresses?? Maybe I could tell my
network ops to allow out to a specific block/mask, so if the server changes
IP's I can still receive the nvt feed???

Cheers,

Matthew Coene
