Well, its better up to the OpenVAS steering group to make decisions/plans here.
I intentionally do not involve myself here other than promoting that
OpenVAS should be more offensive in raising donations. I don't want
to give impression Greenbone tries to use donation money for own purposes.
Its entirely up to the OpenVAS community to decide where to go with such money.

Adding mirrors means work, one way or another.
This needs at least to balance with the gain.

We should raise the question:

 What is the current bottleneck of the OpenVAS project?

And then spend our resources into the answer.
