Hi all,

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I would be very happy to be able to supply more information, but we
neither have direct access to their infrastructure, nor do they seem to
be able or willing to supply the information we requested.

So at this point, I cannot, unfortunately supply more information than I
already gave.

Not really, but before using the VPN connection to the database, they
were connecting to the same type of database on their localhost which
did not trigger the printer-deleting behavior. Also, it seems to happen
only when they try to print to one of the network printers, not when,
for instance, they try to print to a PDF "printer".

Mind, though, we are talking about a Microsoft SQLServer, not MySQL.

It should be possible, yes, only, like I said, we don't have access to
their infrastructure at this point in time.
But that's a good suggestion and we'll definitely try that

I will try to get answers to both questions.

No, but I honestly don't know what Windows is capable of doing "by
accident". And even if it's not by accident, but for a very good reason,
we're kind of stranded without more information about the routing, the
Windows events, etc.

Best regards,
David
