Comment:

 Sadly there can always be a number of broken things for any device at any
 point in time. So any release note info would essentially read "there
 might be issues".

 If you flash alternative firmware you need to be prepared to run into
 bugs, in the worst case you have to revert to OEM firmware.

 The ath9k driver works well for many people and not well for some, this
 does not depend on the model, architecture or version of it but rather on
 environmental factors, therefor it makes no sense to issue model specific
 warnings.

 We can consider adding a generic disclaimer in future release notes.
