Me? I miss Character mode Forms 3.
Once you know the form layout for an app, you can
really fly through the screens. The 'user friendly' GUI's
often do nothing but slow you down.
I *really* miss CASE 5. :)
Cross Platform: That's what Perl is for. Moving from the
character mode installer was one of the stupider things
I've seen in Oracle's attempts to "Keep up with the Jone's".
So what it SQL*Server has a pretty GUI and push buttons
and is so simple a moronic PHB could install it. It's knowing
what to do with it once it's installed that counts.

Nice, I wish I have some technical people around to install
Oracle for me. Is that Windows or Unix platform?
Do they also install patches too? And install
OPS/RAC? They must be very technical then. Good for you,
but for the rest of us, we have to do it ourselves.
Ever install Oracle at work from home over dialup?
Took so long just to draw the initial screens. Man
I miss character mode installer.
