This is most likely due to SystemImager's kernel not being able to detect your network hardware - can you post the specification?
Perhaps you can try to use Peter Mueller's kernel (just copy it to /tftpboot and reboot the nodes):

Also, it is recommended that you use a newer version of the Operating System - Red Hat Linux 9 has been EOL for a while now and is no longer supported by newer version of OSCAR.
