For any medium-size to big projects it's a Good Thing to use some kind 
of builder. For the same reason as using FAR in the first place, and a 
version control system..

On the subversion list there's also a question every now and then that 
the developers feel is outside the scope of the project and the 
developers responsibility to manage.

If you don't agree, grab the source and do it yourself.. thats the 
beauty of open source
