I think this is not a good example of how osflash tools should be
used. For one, RSS would not allow editing of existing content. We
should stick to the wiki to display/structure pages instead of
reinventing the wheel.

Besides, users (i dislike using the term "newbies", some of them may
just have come from a different background) might want to add tips or
a problem they encountered, etc.

Instead of that swf, a more realistic app (pizza, anyone?) should be
used. It should show how osflash can make RIA development faster using
osflash tools, but __not__ use every single osflash tool in existence
for this app; or else it would be just another "golden hammer" case
study.

It is important to prioritise. I feel design and the facade should be
at the bottom at the list. If you stick to the wiki you wouldn't even
need to bother about creating a totally new design or layout.

This reminds me of the thread on ASDT. I mean, there are so many
osflashers out there, I'm sure they would have accessed the wiki at
least once...so if there hasn't been any new content, what makes you
so sure a new workforce can create *and* sustain the creation of new
content?

It would be naive to think that it will be a once-off thing.

I'm not out to criticize you, it's a really good idea, but keep in
mind that over enthusiasm may lead to extraneous and redundant work.
