OK – I didn’t know that, thanks. Apparently
Macromedia wrote some sloppy code?

This from the list:
You need all macromedia classes patched, because they aren`t mtasc compatible.
look at http://osflash.org/mx_v2_components_patch
for the latest patch.
Then read & try to understand how mtasc works!, it´s pretty easy.
Let me know if that helps,

Ok, I
see. Regardless, I get Macromedia core
class errors either way. I unchecked it in my individual project settings
and now I get the same kind of "type"
error, but for a different Macromedia core class:
../mx/core/ScrollView. as:
174…type error,
Object should be
a String
Thanks for your help,

I think that's a little
confusing to some people in FLASC - the Properties>Default Tags are just
meant to be used when you
create a new project as your "Default" settings.
But then after the project is created, it has it's own set of tags. So, be sure to edit the tags in your
project (hold SHIFT+LMouse to edit a
project)
