Thanks, so I changed it to the Macromedia core classes directory as you suggested ( I didn’t realize FLASC was asking for the Macromedia directory I guess – I thought “core Flash classes” meant MY core default class directory), but when I did that, I got a different error in MTASC:

 

”C:/Documents and Settings/[my username]/Local Settings/Application Data/Macromedia/Flash 8/en/Configuration/Classes/mx/core/UIObject.as : 66 : Characters 8-25 : type error Type requires in strict mode” – version 8

 

I unchecked the “-strict” tag in MTASC default parameters in FLASC settings, but the error didn’t go away.   Any idea what’s causing that?
