I dont know if Ray is an Adobe employee, but I think Ben Forta is. The below statement doesnt exactly feel like a conspiracy to "pass it off as a community effort." They didnt use the word "community" (at least where I read) but what they did do is explain who did what. That seems reasonable to me.

For example, if they were to reject a project like red5 then I think they would really have a problem. If they do that kind of thing they will indeed be proving the suspicions right. I just prefer that they actually *do* something screwed up before jumping all over them. But if they do I am totally ready to jump on the bandwagon :).
