@Darren. Thanks for the input. Do you think it will be much effort to port my exisiting AS2 code to AS3? I'm glad to hear you also use Scite; so are we not missing out on great functionality by not using elipse? (I could not get the flash eclipe environment to work properly when I tried it a year ago).
