Hi Tim, I have now merged your uniform buffer object code as is. It seems to work fine on my ATI 4670. I'm still rather uncomfortable with how esoteric the interface is for end users. Explain how to use it to new or existing users is not going be easy.
However, I think it better we have an implementation that advanced users get their teeth in to and discuss how we might improve on it, rather than spend too long pontificating on stuff. W.r.t the improvements in naming you mentioned in your most recent email, please just update the methods of the version now in svn/trunk to what you think is now most appropriate.
