Hi All,

Thanks the new multi-thread background creation of text in osgtext
I've been able to home in pretty quickly to the problem areas, both in
the core osg and the osgText libraries.

To solve the observed problems I have added several mutexes to
osgText, and as a result am setting pretty solid results with osgtext
--mt NumberOfThreads. I've tested up to 10 threads i.e. osgtext --mt
10 and I'm no longer see crashes on start up, running or on exit.

The changes are now all checked in. Those who've observed problems
with multi-threaded crashes in osgtext could you please update to the
latest in svn and let me know how you get on.

Now I do need qualify "pretty solid", its solid if I just leave the
osgtext --mt to do its stuff, but if I enable stats by pressing 's' I
getting freetype warnings printed out to the console and sometimes get
gargabe text on the stats. Since the mutexes I've added were per
Font, I suspect that perhaps freetype can't handle separate threads
using different fonts at the same time - it can only handle single
threaded access. This is my suspicion, one I haven't tested yet.
I'll do this another day though, its late in day and my RSI is biting.

Robert.
