Nothing very exciting unfortunately. I have been using a kd-tree  
implementation that can be used from OSG by Adrian Egli, but it isn't  
in a state where it can be integrated. There is considerable work to  
be done before it is.

Unfortunately, it isn't possible for me to drive that development  
right now, so unless someone else chips in and looks over Adrian's  
code with an eye for cleaning up the design to integrate it into the  
OSG, it won't progress much in the near future.

And a kd-tree is just one of the building blocks. After that, to get  
anything near a "realtime raytracer", there is still more work to be  
done.

Sorry for being the bearer of bad news...
