Hi Brian,

hmm, I have tried it and I do not get higher speed out of it. I included the 
stats handler and pressed 's'. I can see statistics on the screen, however I do 
not get higher frame rate.

Maybe the problem is somewhere else (vsync, ...). 
I appologies I can not go deeper in that problem in the moment. I have a 
deadline on 28th may, hence I am now not in the right condition to do something 
different except of my work ;)

I would try it also on my machine at home (different system, different drivers, 
different GPU). Maybe I would notice any difference there.
