Well, I downloaded a 30 day trial of 3DS Max 2009 and it did not have an osg importer or exporter. But it had an STL importer which is what my model format is in. So I imported it, generated the texture coordinates, and then exported it as .3ds which OpenSceneGraph could read, and then I saved it as a .osg.
So now I am trying to find the texture coordinates. I have just started on this leg so I won't ask any stupid questions until I have more info.
