HI Steve, I'm afraid I can't give you an answers, I don't have your txp database to test against, and I haven't ever seen this problem first hand. Perhaps others in the community will have seen something similar and may be able to help.
What I can say is that it'd be very useful for others if you provide more information about your OSG version/OS/Graphics Card/Compiler version/Compile build type. Robert.
