Hi Allen, I did not know that a specific version of maven was required for Ubuntu. Also, I am trying to get osgvp to run under Windows XP 32bit. Do you have a > step by step installation guide for osgvp on Windows XP? > > I need osgvp running on Ubuntu 9.0.4 as well as Windows XP as I will be > developing on Ubuntu and deploying a product on Windows XP and a current > step by step guide to install osgvp on to XP would be greatly appreciated. > > I guess you know this pdf ( http://www.gvsig.org/web/projects/gvsig-commons/osgvp/resources/UserGuide_en.pdf), may be it is a little out of date. > > My Windows XP error that I am getting is: > 1. It is possible that certain plugins required are not compatible with your version of maven (wagon-ftp, a security ftp plugin and others) so the version of maven you are using could cause problems. But we are working on a solution. These days we are moving our maven and svn repositories to osor [1], the consecuence is that wagon-ftp should not be used again. If you wait a few days the work will be done, if you prefer to do it now, reconsider to downgrade your maven version. BTW we have to update our documentation, maybe a command-line sequence guide will be useful. Regards.
