Right: GPXs created in OsmAnd provide proper turn-by-turn navigation in
OsmAnd. The function is part of the route details screen, as shown here:

But other than using BRouter (which I've not yet tried), I haven't heard of
an externally-created GPX that can do the same.  The question keeps coming
up because people like to plan routes on a screen larger than a phone.
