Right: GPXs created in OsmAnd provide proper turn-by-turn navigation in OsmAnd. The function is part of the route details screen, as shown here: https://youtu.be/o84C0z3Kydc?t=563
But other than using BRouter (which I've not yet tried), I haven't heard of an externally-created GPX that can do the same.
