Turn by turn instructions are not helped by the fact that Osmand disabled the off route alarm feature. If you miss a turn Osmand will never use the option of stopping and going back to get on route ( even using when using Osmands native navigation feature) Instead the app calculates a new route / detour which can be miles in length. Doesn't make sense. This is a major inconvenience when cycling in rural areas or if you have time constraints. Unlike other navigation apps Osmand seems to have an aversion to an off route alarm. A right pain.
