You could contact the developers. I think the UI could be improved, but for
me functional improvements are more important, such as being able to follow
OSM-routes (route relations for long distance hiking and cycling) without
having to import a gpx. OsmAnd is being outsmarted and outdated in that
respect by a daily increasing number of apps.
