I prefer email over forums for general discussions. It's easier for me to keep track of what happens and to get an email everytime a posting in a forum was made is a pain in the back. So, I'd vote against the forum for now, since we basically have only one big topic - ossec - here and the subtopics are not really so different. So I'd stick to mail-only instead of having two discussionsystems.
About wishlist and bugsystem: I'd vote for bugzilla or some other ticketingsystem. I'd really love to have a wiki for the documentation, since it would take some work from the dev-team by letting the community improve the docs and the faqs.
