Chuck, there is simply nothing inconsistent about saying that we need to get the deficit under control for the health of the economy but that during a foreclosure crisis isn't the best time to raise federal revenues. It like knowing you have to cut down on the use of your personal credit card but confronting the fact that your child needs emergency care. The irony here is Obama's position here is exactly what McCain's was before he flip-flopped. Maybe McCain realized that his supporters were too simple minded to grasp that what is a good policy under some circumstances isn't necessary a good policy always. -- It is an ironic habit of human beings to run faster when we have lost our way. -Rollo May _______________________________________________ OSX-Nutters mailing list | [email protected] http://lists.tit-wank.com/mailman/listinfo/osx-nutters List hosted at http://cat5.org/
