Hi,
Refering to the following document
<http://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/SoftwareGuide/SoftwareGuidech2.html>, I
get and build external libraries from source (GDAL 1.10.1, ITK 4.5,
Boost 1.55, ...) with gcc 4.6.3 and cmake 2.8.12.2.
1) The only way I found to build OTB was to build both ITK and OTB
with the "fPIC" option (no alternative! else, the compiler throw an
error message when linking libITKEXPAT-4.5.a)
Ok we will investigate that. Can you provide more information ?
CmakeCache.txt, or even submit a build to the dashboard with ctest -D
Experimental ?
2) I can't even run a otb_app executable. Here is an example with
BandMath (console output) <http://pastebin.com/A2rtndN3>.
The error message is the following:
/usr/local/bin/otbcli: line 29: 28805 Segmentation fault
$OTB_CLI_LAUNCHER "$@"
(Same behavior with other apps)
I bet you can run the applications and that the crash only occurs when
the application ends (after writing its output). Can you try ? We have
some issues with shader libraries dynamic loading (which are beyond the
scope of our code), and we have found no way to fix them for now (other
than pushing fixes upstream). Can you try to run an application and see
how it goes ?
Regards,
Julien
