Hey Pat, Sorry I didn't respond the first time, but I'm not certain how to respond. Tell me what the COTA supervision would require time wise. What are the COTA supervision regulations in your state. The supervisory requirements may change based on the setting in which the COTA is practicing as well. Personally, I would figure out what an hour of time was worth (i.e. how much money would that time equate to in another setting)and bill them accordingly per hour. It may be advsable to state a minimum within that (i.e. billable at a minimum of 2 hours and then adjusting it above the 2 hour mark.)

(my apologies to those of you who have already read it.. and read it) I was offered a third job (as if the two I already have aren't enough). They want to know what I would charge, and I don't have a clue what to ask for... I would be doing evals, goals, treatment plans, and a COTA would be doing the actual treatments (when I am not in the building). We agreed on a set fee for the evals, etc, but they asked how much I would charge for a "supervisory fee" (aka allowing the COTA to work unded my license). They suggested 15% of collections (as opposed to what they actually bill), but I don't know if that is a fair and reasonable fee. Is anyone out there doing this type of thing? How do you charge for your services? Pat -- Unsubscribe? [EMAIL PROTECTED] Change options? www.otnow.com/mailman/options/otlist_otnow.com Archive? www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] Help?
