I would stay away from any pay that depends upon their ability to collect. Fort several reasons: 1. getting paid takes a long time,.. so how long will you have to wait? 2) Are you sure, or can you verify, that the amount they've recieived is accurate?
3) Supervisors are normally under salary. And then they do the job even if it takes longer than expected.
4) I would bill for what I believed my time and expertise is worth. If you go cheap, then you aren't PERCEIVED as being
worth the money.
5) My regular rate (2-3 yr ago) was $48.00 per hour. Documentation time was included.

I posted this before.. but there were very few people on the list
so I am going to give it another shot... (my apologies to those of you
who have already read it.. and read it)

I was offered a third job (as if the two I already have aren't enough).
They want to know what I would charge, and I don't have a clue what to ask for...

I would be doing evals, goals, treatment plans, and a COTA would be doing
the actual treatments (when I am not in the building). We agreed on a set fee for
the evals, etc, but they asked how much I would charge for a "supervisory fee"
(aka allowing the COTA to work unded my license). They suggested 15% of collections
(as opposed to what they actually bill), but I don't know if that is a fair and reasonable fee.

Is anyone out there doing this type of thing? How do you charge for your services?
