Yeah - only I notices the original poster asked about Bioness and MS. I checked 
the webpage, but found no info about how the thing was actually working - so if 
it would actually be able to use the signal from one muscle to get another 
working - or strengthen a weak signal to get some actual useful function going 
- who knows??

I seem to remember that some like equipment worked both as a training device, 
and as an actual prosthetic device - in some cases providing a somewhat 
functional grip - ie with MS and higher SCI - is this one of them?
