I made a typo about my version of libusb. I am using libusb-0.1.12, sorry.

Today I tried kernel 2.6.17.13 (Slackware extra). Guess what, OWFS-2.6p1 works
like a charm!

I can't find a version of libusb named 0.1-4 at
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1674&package_id=1632
and I would not think you are using version 0.1.4 as that one is from 2001.

I guess a lot of OWFS users are using version 0.1.12 as it was released in
mars 2006.

I'll reinstall my laptop from scratch with Slackware 11.0, then try to compile
several versions of OWFS again, just in case. I'll let you know the results.

Whatever the reason, I find it quite strange that when using kernel 2.6.18
OWFS-2.5p10 runs fine, while OWFS-2.6p0 do not.

Thanks for all the response.

Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
Get stuff done quickly with pre-integrated technology to make your job easier.
