I also have some problems with reading DS18s20, parasitic powered connected
to a DS2409 hub using a USB adapter. I have checked it out and build it. I'm
still dosn't get it to work correctly.

I have been trying to understand what happens  and if I look on the bus with
a oscilioscope I can see that the bus is held low for quite a while , about
7-13ms, when OWFS trying to read the temperature after the convert command.
If the low time is in the lower range the temp. is read correctly, if longer
I get 85.
I don't know if is same in the cvs version as I did this observations in the
v2.7p0 release.
