Oh should state memory leak is nothing to do with owfs, it seems a problem
with the serial port and how I am using it to gather information from other
devices via rs232..

Hi Mick,

Just wondering if the Rpi is reliable over longer periods. I have just set
mine up and worried about memory leaks. What is your greatest up time and
do you also run rrdtools and apache ?

I have I2C 1wire and a couple of serial devices I am communicating to
running the new Rpi Raspbian

Thanks

rob

I have just installed owfs-2.8p16 on my Raspberry Pi running the new Raspian
OS and it works fine!! I tried owfs-2.8p17 first and that didn't work, not
sure why and it is late now so I may try that again tomorrow, but I can go
to bed happy that I got it to work!! A great piece of software running on a
great piece of hardware.

Mick
