Thanks for your reply.

All PF services are running except httpd.portal

The switch is configured for remote VLAN-based control. And when it comes
to linkUp notifications the PF processes them perfectly and the switch
changes VLAN's as expected.

Here is the switch.conf excerpt for the switch:

AccessListMap=N
