I did not turn the plugin because I don't like
my computer sending out information without my
knowledge.  Signing "yes" is not enough.

As a developer for the PDL module, I've wished for more
specific feedback from user installations.  Some ideas
I've had to possibly address information security
concerns:

(1) Document exactly what is being sent

(2) Collect data in a local file for reference

(3) Prompt for review and permission to submit
     or even require the user to mail themselves

(4) Acknowledgement of receipt of information
     to close the loop

I'm not sure if transparency is enough but some
of these might be a step in the right direction.
