As you may have expected, I cannot comment on rumors or unannounced
products or ideas for possible future products.
Yes, we have heard the desire to have more memory on a Palm V formfactor
device. But then again, people want the Palm VII functionality in a Palm V
formfactor, for the current price of a Pilot 1000 :-)
We're in a new situation now, where there isn't one "best" Palm device
which has all the good points of all other products. Today, you've got
"smallest and slickest" versus "most memory and expandable" versus
"wireless" versus "least expensive", take your pick. That isn't a bad
thing, though; it is nice to have options. Only problem is that you can't
always have it all.
I have found, though, that it isn't hard to carry two in the same pocket
:-) (Mostly because my Palm VII rom gets reflashed so often with the
latest builds, that it isn't worth restoring the data all the time.)
