Just to throw my 2 electrons in...

I'm in the same boat, but I've currently got 5.3 megs in my PalmIII, and I want
to put *more* reference data (Docs) in there, so I wouldn't jump unless it had
8megs...

I always thought it'd be fun to work in a "rumor division" of a business -
wander around *intentionally* spreading wild and fantastic rumors... probably
violates federal laws in some way though... :)

Yeah!! I'd buy *two*!! :)
(but only if it had 8megs or more!!) <grin>

What!?!?!?! Who *says* I can't have it all??? I'm gonna throw a tantrum!
(If I remember right, isn't your kidlet big enough now to be throwing tantrums?
I guess it'll do about as much good... :)

Well, when I travel, I've got 4 Palm Devices with me, but three are test-beds...
I'd be willing to add a 5th (hint-hint) - a Palm VII.. even if I have to
reflash all the time... <grin>
Seriously, though - I hope that if Palm adds a high-end version of the Palm V
that they go full-boat and put 8megs into it.
I would love to upgrade my PalmIII to the better screen of the PalmIIIx or Palm
V, but I can't justify throwing away my 8meg card (since it doesn't work in the
Palm IIIx) and really don't want to prune back my data - I really want to carry
my life in this thing...
I do realize I'm not the normal Palm customer though - although I think I'm
probably indicative of the future average customer... (barring decent-speed
wireless access to all the data I want to carry - ala Ed Keye's Atmosphere)
