Doing what the docs say is one of the guidelines, but they don't test other
cases besides examples or statements in the docs.  They aren't there to make
sure your app works correctly.  Their purpose is to make sure it adheres to
the visual and use guidelines specified by Palm.

As far as I can tell, the certification process involves no testing other
than what is specified in the certification requirements--menu quick keys,
misspelled words in the docs, 1M gremlins. I don't think they even make an
attempt, for instance, to verify that your applications does what your docs
say it does functionally.
